What the Bleep Do We Know!? ow!? and What the #$*! Do We Know!?) is a 2004 American pseudo-scientific film that posits a spiritual connection between quantum physics and consciousness. The plot follows the fictional story of a photographer, using documentary-style interviews and computer-animated graphics, as she encounters emotional and existential obstacles in her life and begins to consider the idea that individual and group consciousness can influence the material world. Her experiences are offered by the filmmakers to illustrate the film’s scientifically-unsupported thesis about quantum physics and consciousness.

Bleep was conceived and its production funded by William Arntz, who co-directed the film along with Betsy Chasse and Mark Vicente all three were students of Ramtha’s School of Enlightenment. A moderately low-budget independent film, it was promoted using viral marketing methods and opened in art-house theaters in the western United States, winning several independent film awards before being picked up by a major distributor and eventually grossing over $10 million. What is it? It’s “What the Bleep Do We Know?!”, a film about quantum physics. Quantum physics made fun. Quantum physics made relevant. Actually, you could say it’s a film about reality. Or you could say it’s a film about you, and how you create your life. It’s done in a way that’s fun, with psychedelic visuals, a good story line, great music, and good pacing.

The movie What the Bleep Do We Know? shows, with quantum physics, that everything is connected, everything you perceive is a result of your thoughts and everything is a thought. The movie leads its main character, Amanda, from frustration to a realization that it is her thoughts that produce the entire world she perceives. Its all an illusion.

David Hoffmeister: There is really just one ego and one projection. Everything that involves duality is part of the projection of the split mind. Fragmentation was made to hide the face of God. The first lesson of ACIM already speaks to this: Nothing I see means anything. The ego has invented this whole system to perpetuate guilt. The world looks solid but it is just a projection. God does not know anything of this world. All pain is in the mind and it is only in the mind that it can be resolved.

Everything that involves duality is part of the projection. It is the projection of the split mind into a world a cosmoswhere there seem to be trillions and trillions of fragments that dont have any existence in and of themselves, and no relation to one another. Krauss worries that a lot of people can be fooled by appeals to the admittedly weird world of quantum physics a world in which particles are said to take every possible path from point A to point B, in which the position and velocity of particles are necessarily cloaked in uncertainty, in which the mere act of observation changes the thing being observed.

Q: But isn’t everything really connected? Doesn’t the quantum world pervade everything that we see around us?

The weirdness of quantum mechanics is reserved for either very specially prepared configurations in the laboratory, or scales that are so small that quantum-mechanical effects are significant.

How Do We Create Our Reality

Most people do not affect reality in a consistent, substantial way because they dont believe they can. They write an intention and then they erase it because they think that is silly. The fact is that they believe they cannot do it.

Positive thinking is a wonderful idea but usually, people have a whole bunch of negative thinking going around, so just occasional positive thinking does not really make the difference.

When we think of things, reality seems to be more concrete than it is, and that is why we appear to be insignificant. We cannot really change our reality because we believe that we do not have any role in our reality.

Reality is already there. Material objects are moving in their own way from deterministic laws, and mathematics determines what they will do in a given situation. We have no role at all.

However, if we see reality as a possibility of consciousness then immediately comes the question of how can we influence it?

Mathematics gives us possibilities that all these movements can assume, and then we choose the experience that we will have in our consciousness. We choose that experience, and therefore literally create our own reality.

We build up models of how we see the world around us, and the more information we have, the more we refine our model one way or another. We tell ourselves a story about what the outside world is.

“Your mind can’t tell the difference between what it sees and what it remembers” Dr Joseph Dispenza in What the Bleep Do We Know?

Dr Dispenza claims in the movie that brain scans PET and Functional MRI show that the same part of your brain lights up whether you’re looking at something or just remembering it. But it’s quite a leap to say the brain doesn’t know the difference between vision and memory.

The brain wasn’t born yesterday. Given a few contextual clues, like whether the eyelids are open or shut, it can work out whether it’s seeing something or remembering it. And there’s the matter of scale the brain lights up in scans much more brightly when you’re seeing something than when you’re reminiscing.

The figures are a bit rubbery, but the idea that we’re only ‘aware’ of a fraction of our brain’s activity is both correct and a huge relief.

What could be worse than being aware of every tiny detail that your brain handles from phosphate levels to heart rate and hair growth.
