Welcome back to my old series! Assuming I have got much better with design recently I decided I’d re-go over design and show how I make my glow levels.

Let’s start!

1. Colours, BG and ground

For colours I personally prefer to have one colour. What I then do is make the background rather dark and same with the ground. Here is what I used.

As you can see I use different shades of the same colour. I also usually make it flash different colours alot.

2. Block design

When making block design I usually use 2 layers a bg layer and just normal decoration.

For the BG layer I use normal blocks and colour them not too bright. After that I make a large gradient. You can do this by using this.

Once you’ve made this stack it all together and put it over the layout blocks. After that you end up with this.

For the detail layer you can use any random design blocks, here are some examples.

You can do whatever you want with these. You don’t have to use these however. You can use black gradienta like this instead.

In the end I made this.

3. Spike design

this is entirely up to you. However it’s best to not use the spikes with the black gradient inside. You can also use the deco used in the block design. I ended up with this

After you need ground spikes. There is many things you can do with this but what I done was a curved layer of spikes. Like this.

After this it looks nice if you add gradient ‘balls’ that curves with the block design like this.

4. Air deco
