Cold-grunde look - trendy photo effect.
First, drain the colour by creating a black-and-white adjustment layer (Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Black and White) and reduce the layer Opacity 70%.Second, create another adjustment layer and choose Exposure. Drag the Exposure slider slightly to the right, Offset slightly to the left, Gamma Correction slightly to the right, and click OK. Finish the effect by adding dramatic vignete.

To create a dramatic vignette, click the Create a New Layer icon. Use the Paint Bucket tool to fill the layer with black. Click the Add Layer Mask icon and use a large, extremly soft-edged brush to paint out the center of the mask. As you move toward the edge of the frame, go to the Options Bar and lower your brush Opacity to about 30%.
